Welcome from the Elementary School Principal

On behalf of our team and myself, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to the Elementary School at VIS. Every academic year, we aim to welcome each child into a richly engaging, safe, and caring environment.

As an internationally diverse school, we strive to foster a sense of responsibility and help our children see themselves as ethical global citizens who will thrive in our vibrant global community. We aim to create a space that encourages inquiry, thirst for knowledge, self-worth, and respect for others.

Our students are collaborative learners who are capable of making discoveries, being curious and creative, finding what they love to learn, and building fantastic relationships with their peers and teachers. This is part of our mission, and our team is here to ensure that we do all we can to achieve these goals and see our children gain their own sense of achievement.

In every school I have worked, I have always considered the students to be at the heart of everything we do, but I also realise that a school is a community where parents and families are an important part of the team. We are looking forward to meeting you and working with you to ensure your children have the best experience at school, investigating, playing, growing, and finding their own identities as learners.
